On December 27, 2025, students from Kok Ngio Primary School in Luang Prabang, Laos, explored the poem "The Door" by Miroslav Holub. Together, we talked about what a door can mean — a path to new places, new ideas, and new beginnings.

Inspired by the poem, the students drew their own "magic doors," imagining the worlds that might exist beyond them. This book is the first of many stories to come, inspiring children to dream, create, and share their stories.

Bognayili village lacked both a junior high school and a health clinic until Yukari Hara, founder of MYDREAM.org, took the initiative to help establish these essential resources. Working closely with village leaders, she has supported the development of a more self-sustaining community. The junior high school was completed in 2017, followed by the opening of the clinic in 2019. As part of this ongoing support, pencils were donated to the local elementary and junior high schools.

The Nuestra Señora de la Victorias Institute was founded in 1977 with the mission of providing quality education to the local community. Today, 428 elementary and secondary students study under the guidance of 17 dedicated teachers. The first shipment of pencils arrived during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting students in their continued pursuit of education.

The Vineyard Youth Center supports over 500 young people in the community, many of whom are directly affected.

Built in 2022 by the Rural Schools Support Organization (RSSO), Kampong Phluk Kindergarten serves a floating village community approximately 33 kilometers from Siem Reap, Cambodia. The one-room school provides early education to 35 children aged 3 to 5 and continues to receive support from RSSO. Alongside foundational learning, students also receive essential mine safety education.
